Privacy Policy
The short version: our apps collect no information about you. None.
Our apps
Every app from Pragmaphilia Labs is made to collect no user information:
- No analytics.
- No tracking or profiling.
- No accounts.
- No ads.
Nothing you do in our apps is sent to us. What an app remembers, such as your settings or its list of words, stays on your device.
Word Salad Surgery
Word Salad Surgery makes its words and their definitions on your own device, the definitions with Apple’s on-device model, Apple Intelligence. Nothing is sent to us.
When you use an Apple service
Some features rely on services Apple runs, which you choose to use. Apple’s own privacy policy covers them, not this one. For example:
- Apple Intelligence, including Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, should a feature of ours use it.
- Game Center, for leaderboards and achievements in Space Flees.
- TestFlight, if you test a beta: the feedback and crash reports you choose to send come to us through Apple, and we use them only to improve the app.
- The App Store, which handles downloads, purchases, and tips. Apple shows developers totals, and crash reports and usage figures from people who chose to share them with developers, but not who you are.
This website
This website sets one cookie, and only if you choose a language with the switch at the top of the page: lang, which remembers the language you chose for a year. It uses no analytics and no tracking. It loads nothing from other companies’ servers: no fonts, scripts, or embedded content.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes ordinary request data (such as your IP address, your browser’s name and version, and the page asked for) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you, and we never share them.
A word about tips
We try to make our apps available for free as much as possible. If you enjoy them, and you appreciate that we respect your privacy and never show you ads for other companies, please consider leaving a tip in the apps that offer one. Thank you!
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
